Privacy Policy

Applies to all Android applications published by DevCraftX · Last updated 28 July 2026

Before you publish this — read This is a working template built from what your apps are known to use. Google Play requires your privacy policy to be accurate for each app, and your Data Safety form must match it exactly. Every yellow box below marks something only you can confirm. Delete the boxes once you've checked them, and have a lawyer review the final text if you monetise seriously.

1. Who is responsible

These apps are published by an individual developer, not a company:

Two things to check Your Google Play payments profile still shows the old address (Ostergasse 9, 85051) — update it in Play Console so your listings, tax documents and verification all match this one. Separately: German law (§5 DDG) generally requires an Impressum with a ladungsfähige Anschrift on commercial sites, and ad-supported apps count as commercial. If you'd rather not publish your home address, a Büroservice providing a serviceable business address is the usual route — but it has to be used consistently here, in the Impressum and in Play Console.

2. The short version

Most apps store your data only on your device. It is not uploaded and I cannot see it.
I do not sell personal data, and I do not build advertising profiles myself.
Some apps show ads or offer purchases. Those use third-party services that do collect data — listed below.
Some apps need location or camera access to work. That data is used for the feature you asked for.

3. Data kept only on your device

These apps are built local-first. The following stays in the app's private storage on your phone and is never transmitted to me:

Feeding, sleep and growth entries (FeedNest)
Quiz progress, marked questions and practice history (Leben in Deutschland Test)
Audio files you record or import, and the transcripts produced from them (TranskriptGo)
Saved favourites, alert zones and app settings

Uninstalling an app deletes this data. Because it never leaves your device, I cannot recover it for you — please export or back up anything important.

On-device processing in TranskriptGo

TranskriptGo runs a speech-recognition model (Whisper Tiny, via ExecuTorch) directly on your phone. Your audio is not sent to any server for transcription — not mine, not a third party's. Transcription works with no network connection.

4. Third-party services

Where an app uses one of these, that provider processes data under its own privacy policy. Not every app uses every service.

Confirm per app Delete any service an app doesn't actually use, and add anything missing. Google Play's Data Safety form must list the same services and the same data types — mismatches are a common cause of rejected updates and app removals.

5. Permissions and why they're needed

Permission	Used for
Location	Finding nearby filling stations (Spritpreise), checking parking rules where you are (Darf ich parken?), and triggering alerts for your chosen region (Earthquake Alerts).
Camera	Scanning parking signs (Darf ich parken?) and QR codes. Images are processed for that purpose and not uploaded.
Microphone	Recording audio for transcription (TranskriptGo). Processed on-device.
Notifications	Reminders and alerts you have asked for.
Storage / files	Importing audio to transcribe, and exporting reports as PDF or CSV.

You can withdraw any permission at any time in Android Settings. The related feature will stop working, but the rest of the app will continue to run.

6. Children

These apps are not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please email me and I will delete it.

Check FeedNest is a baby tracker — the data is about an infant but entered by an adult, and it stays on the device. Confirm your Play Console target-audience setting for it is consistent with this section, since Play's Families policy is strict here.

7. Your rights under GDPR

If you are in the EU or EEA, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and to data portability.

Because most app data lives only on your device, you already control it directly — deleting the app deletes the data. For anything held by a third-party service, or if you want a formal request handled, email kontakt@jawadkhan.de and I will respond within 30 days.

You can reset or delete your Advertising ID in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads, which stops it being used to personalise ads. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority; in Bavaria this is the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht.

8. Data retention and transfers

I hold no personal data on my own servers beyond what is needed to deliver push notifications. Third-party providers listed above retain data according to their own policies, and some are based outside the EU — those transfers rely on the providers' standard contractual clauses and adequacy decisions.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top will be updated. Significant changes will be noted in the relevant app's release notes.
