AquaPaw
Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 6, 2026
This privacy policy describes how AquaPaw handles user data. AquaPaw is a water tracker and hydration reminder app.
Data AquaPaw Stores
AquaPaw stores hydration and profile data locally on the user's device. This can include:
- Profile setup: name, weight, gender, activity level, wake time, sleep time, and unit preference.
- Hydration entries: drink type, drink volume, and timestamp.
- Reminder settings: reminder interval, tone, quiet hours, and whether smart skip is enabled.
- App preferences and local onboarding status.
How The Data Is Used
AquaPaw uses local data to calculate hydration goals, show daily and weekly progress, schedule optional hydration reminders, and show ads. AquaPaw does not create user accounts, sell user data, or send hydration data to a developer server.
Advertising
AquaPaw uses Google AdMob to display banner ads. AquaPaw requests non-personalized ads. Google AdMob may process device identifiers, approximate location derived from network data, diagnostics, and ad interaction data according to Google's advertising policies and user consent choices. In supported regions, Google consent forms may ask for ad-related consent before ads are requested.

Notifications
If reminders are enabled, AquaPaw asks for notification permission and schedules local hydration reminders on the device. Users can turn reminders off in the app or change notification permission in Android settings.
Sharing
AquaPaw does not share hydration or profile data with a developer server. Google AdMob may receive ad-related data needed to provide, measure, and secure ads.
Retention And Deletion
Data remains on the user's device until the user deletes it, resets AquaPaw, clears app storage, or uninstalls the app. Inside the app, users can clear drink history or reset app data from Settings.
Security
AquaPaw keeps app data in local device storage through platform storage APIs. Users should keep their device operating system and screen lock up to date to protect local device data.
Changes
This policy may be updated when AquaPaw changes how it handles data. The updated policy should keep the same public, non-editable URL in Google Play whenever possible.
